This past Ghostbusters Day (GBI Blog Post, June 7, 2018) with Wizard World seemingly dominating Ghostbusters 34th into 35th anniversaries activities we way overlooked to post about Spirit Halloween then upcoming Ghostbusters prop toys (and other) merchandise. We are poor business ghostheads associates Spirit Halloween. We should have pumpkin spice food & beverages in the near future.
We’re finally making the time two months later to post about Spirit Ghostbusters prop toys, including the Spirit exclusive Ghost Trap. (GBI Blog Post, July 21, 2018)
Last month Anovos Productions LLC announced their upcoming Proton Pack replica kit. (GBI Blog Post, April 30, 2016) Since then Anovos told ghostheads through social media their is a payment plan for the upcoming kits. Great news for responsible ghostheads.
Going into the weekend (last if you knew we were slackers) Anovos sent out their May 2016 Ghostbusters newsletter where they not only updated their FAQ, began preparations for a new announcement.
Or so they claim. News off the Japanese servers reports Sony developed “the worlds first Proton Pack.”

We’re not sure if it was worn by Bill Murray. Why would the Indianapolis Children’s Museum display Ghostbusters and more? Its part of there “You’re on the Set!” exhibit. Continue reading →
Prior to learning Phillip Avery created a 3D Printable Ghost Trap we knew ghosthead Tommy B was building a Proton Pack from printing 3D parts. As far as we knew (until today) this is the first 1:1 scale prop Proton Pack made by printing necessary pieces. We really like what Tommy B created. We’re pleased its a prop, not operational high tech (and potentially dangerous) equipment.
The Ontario Ghostbusters are proud to announce a major fundraising initiative in support of Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto. The team is giving a lucky Ghosthead the opportunity to win their very own proton pack! Not only that, but the winner will get an invite to join the group for a day at a Comic Con in 2015. A secondary prize of an OGB prize pack which includes, among other things, a hot beverage thermal mug and balloon for the kids.
