Our associates at Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment sent over information and a press release unveiling year 2 content. Which includes Ghostbusters (2016) story pack, where ghostheads can play the complete movie!
Today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment unveiled exciting new content coming to the bestseller LEGO Dimensions, which includes beloved franchises such as Harry Potter, Sonic The Hedgehog, Adventure Time, Mission Impossible, E.T. and The Goonies, as well as upcoming properties Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and the new Ghostbusters team.
Along with the addition of new properties, the expansion will include all-new battle arenas, bigger adventure worlds and introduce story packs, which will provide players with even deeper, story-driven gameplay.
Ghostbusters: The Board Game II builds off the successful original and introduces new miniatures, campaigns, powers, events, entities, gear… and GHOSTS. A standalone expansion, the game can be played on its own or mixed and matched with the original board game, which raised over $1.5M last year on Kickstarter. It includes 54 Miniatures including new Courtroom and Slime Blower Ghostbuster figures.
With authentic art from Ghostbusters comic book artist Dan Schoening and a script by Erik Burnham, the game is filled with references, in-jokes and Easter eggs that fans will love. Ghostbusters: The Board Game II is a flexible action-strategy game with unpredictable adversaries and a wide range of abilities, with 12 reversible tiles and campaigns that last from 20 minutes to multiple hours to let 1-4 players bust ghosts however they like.
This 3″ blind-boxed collection features the returning legendary quartet of Venkman, Stantz, Spengler and Zeddemore plus familiar faces such as Louis Tully, Janine, Dana and, of course, Slimer! As if that wasn’t enough there’s the upgraded Ecto-1 as well as new villains in the form of Nunzio Scoleri, Janosz Poha and the terrifying Vigo The Carpathian!
Each figure is 3” blind-boxed and certain pieces come with a character-specific accessory.
PLUS: 4 hidden chase figures for you to hunt and collect!
